【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversnonvulcanized(uncured)rubbersheetmadeofEPDM(ethylene-propylene-dieneterpolymer)orCR(polychloroprene)intendedforuseaswatertightroofflashingexposedtotheweather.1.2Thetestsandpropertylimitsusedtocharacterizetheseflashingmaterialsarespecificforeachclassificationandareminimumvaluestomaketheproductfitforitsintendedpurpose.1.3SIunitsshallbeusedinrefereedecisions.1.4In-placeroofsystemdesigncriteria,suchasfireresistance,fieldseamingstrength,materialcompatibility,andupliftresistance,amongothers,arebeyondthescopeofthisspecification.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainstothetestmethodsportiononly,Section8,ofthisspecification:Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcernsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
